Quality Assurance & Planning

To meet the new challenges presented by the aviation industry, EGS embarked on the Total Quality Management (TQM) and Quality Control Circle (QCC) program. These concepts are at the core of our integrated approach to providing the highest quality products and services. Our aim is to make continuous improvement a way of life for Emirates Group Security. We are achieving this by ensuring that every team is a quality control circle and every leader is a quality control circle leader.

Our Quality Assurance division is responsible for ensuring that all departments adhere to our Quality Management System (QMS). Our QMS is developed to the ISO 9001:2000 standards and also to rigorous, international, regulatory standards and to those set by the government.

The Security Planning unit is another section in this division and is responsible for the development and establishment of security plans, systems and procedures. This unit is involved in all building projects from initial planning stages and provides an integrated support service to Emirates' group-wide security program to ensure implementations happen on time.

The Quality Assurance and Planning team's main responsibilities are:

  • Compliance with National and International Regulatory bodies and authorities
  • Development of a document control and record management system
  • Internal quality audits and spot inspections
  • Quality awareness training for new and existing employees
