In 2020, and for the sixth year in a row, ECU received the top undergraduate teaching quality ranking of all public universities in Australia (Australian Government’s Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching results). ECU also ranked in the world’s top 100 universities under 50 years old in the 2020 Times Higher Education Young Universities Rankings.
ECU's eight Schools collectively deliver a diverse range of courses across Arts & Humanities, Business & Law, Education, Engineering, Medical & Health Sciences, Nursing & Midwifery, Science and the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
The Emirates Group Security’s Training Team’s industry-based courses may be used as a pathway into many courses at ECU. Examination assessment and grading for these programmes are undertaken by ECU.
Students who successfully complete the Diploma of Ground Handling may receive up to 3 units Advanced Standing into the Bachelor of Aviation at ECU, and students who complete the Diploma of Aviation Security Management may receive up to 4 units Advanced Standing into the Bachelor of Science (Cyber Security), Bachelor of Commerce, or Bachelor of Media and Communications at ECU.
